May 11, 2013: ... the Angel City Over-30s (LAPL) kept pace with a tough Blaggers FC squad Saturday, earning a 0-0 draw despite missing their top goal scorer, Hector Alvarado, who was just released from the hospital after an emergency appendectomy. The team wishes Alvarado a speedy recovery. Next LAPL games are not scheduled until June with dates and times TBA.
April 6, 2013: Angel City FC, ACFC and the Angel City Cuties ended the spring SMASL season with three straight wins Saturday during 7s action at the Santa Monica Airport. Angel City FC topped La Masia 5-1 to finish up 5-1-4, ACFC clobbered Busby's FC 11-5 for their second win of the season, and the AC Cuties beat Esjberg 9-4 for a 6-1-3 final record. Check out the Fixtures page for match stats. Angel City will resume play on June 17 with two squads.
Angel City FC is on the look-out for new soccer talents for both 7s and the over-30s 11s squads which compete in the SMASL and the LA Premiere League. If you are interested in trying out for a great local club, please fill out the Player Information Form to arrange a spot at the next convenient practice. Prior competitive experience and a respectable level of fitness are required.
